25th Para Swimming Nationals in Hyderabad

Champions in the pool and in spirit!

Splendid performances by the Para Champions Programme athletes Himanshu Nandal, Suyash Jadhav, and Budigina Karthik and our Samarth Para Sports Programme athletes Sathi Mondal and Tejas Nandakumar at the 25th Para Swimming Nationals in Hyderabad.

– Sathi Mondal won three golds in the 100m breaststroke, 50m freestyle, and 50m butterfly.

– Tejas clinched two golds (100m freestyle & 4×100m freestyle relay) and two silvers (50m freestyle & 100m backstroke).

– Himanshu powered through with three golds in the 100m breaststroke, 50m freestyle, and 100m backstroke.

– Suyash claimed three golds in the 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle, and 50m backstroke, along with two silvers in the 4×100m freestyle relay and 4×100m medley relay. He also broke his own 400 m relay record, improving his time from 1.15 to 1.13.

– Karthik, in his debut under the Para Champions Programme (PCP), won three golds in the 50m freestyle, 100m butterfly, and 200m IM.
